The international exhibition-fair "Turkmentextile Expo 2026" is being held in Ashgabat. Organized in the modern building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, this large-scale event is aimed at introducing the achievements of the country's textile industry to the global community and developing mutually beneficial relations with foreign partners. On the occasion of the opening of the international event, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory letter to the exhibition participants and guests. As noted in the message of the Head of State, the ancient textile traditions of the Turkmen people are an inseparable part of the national cultural heritage, and in the current period, the modern development of this art is one of the priority directions of state policy. In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the textile industry has become an important, rapidly growing sector of the national economy. Notably, as a result of the large-scale work carried out over the past year, production capacities were increased, and the range of export-oriented products meeting world standards was significantly expanded.

Currently, special importance is attached to the introduction of digital systems and automated management technologies in the country's textile enterprises. These digital solutions enable efficient use of resources, ensure product quality in accordance with international requirements, and increase labor productivity. Along with this, the national heritage and artistic principles of the people are harmonized with modern innovations, further strengthening the competitiveness of Turkmen textile products in international markets.

Products manufactured from Turkmenistan's environmentally clean cotton are successfully exported to numerous countries worldwide, which demonstrates the growing economic power of the country. The ongoing international exhibition-fair not only celebrates the achieved milestones but also serves as an favorable platform for implementing new investment projects and exchanging mutual experience.
