In order to successfully implement the tasks stipulated in the National Programme for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for the years of 2012-2030, His Excellency President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow signed Decree № 2078 on the purchase of two A330-200 cargo aircraft of P2F modification on 7 January 2021.
On this basis, on 18 January, 2021 during the online conference held between Turkmenhowayollary Agency and Airbus S.A.S., a French Company, Mr. Saburov, Chief Executive of Turkmenhowayollary Agency and Mr. Paul Meijers, Head of Leasing, Customer Finance and Asset of Airbus S.A.S. signed a Purchase Agreement of two A330-200 cargo aircraft of P2F Modification.
High-quality A330-200 cargo aircraft of "P2F" Modification have a load capacity of up to 59 tonnes and flight range of up to 7,400 km.
