In order to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of civil aviation, as well as establish the basis for the development of cooperation in various areas of the economy, the Turkmenhowayollary agency successfully cooperates with the aviation authorities of many countries.
In particular, Turkmenistan has 27 bilateral signed agreements on air communication with various states.
And also, there are agreed and initialed 14 agreements on air traffic.
According to the strategy of developing the infrastructure of air transport in major cities of the country, modern air terminal complexes have been built and put into operation, providing air passengers with a full range of services and runways capable of receiving all types of aircraft. Taking into account the convenient geographical location, as well as the developed infrastructure of the international airports of Turkmenistan, already dozens of foreign airlines operate cargo flights to Turkmenistan both on a regular and charter basis on a variety of heavy liners.
The priority tasks of the civil aviation of Turkmenistan are to ensure flight safety, a high level of service for passengers, the perfect condition of the aircraft fleet and the expansion of the air transportation network.
